Anri joined the O’Reilly Law team in 2023 as corporate and commercial law consultant.
Anri values a holistic approach to legal work. As a contract drafter, legal adviser, academic researcher, and lecturer, Anri is passionate about making the law and legal solutions accessible without ignoring the theoretical intricacies and controversies often accompanying doing legal work.
She has experience as a practicing attorney specializing in corporate and commercial law and currently focuses on contract drafting and research.
Anri has also lectured at various tertiary institutions in South Africa in subjects such as property law, constitutional property law, jurisprudence, contract law, and mining law at undergrad and postgrad levels. Her Ph.D. research considered the problems plaguing mining authorities, mining companies, and mining communities alike in implementing the provisions of the Mining Charter – addressing real practical issues, from a foundation in legal theory and critical analysis.
